The following definitions and staging system, which are based upon appropriately measured blood pressure , were suggested in 2017 by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA) ; proper measurement technique, which is detailed below, is of paramount importance when identifying patients as having hypertension
Expectations
The learner should be able to make a diagnosiss of hypertension and categorize if it is primary or secondary.
Objectives
